About NETME Centre project

Basic information about the project for the period 2014-2018:

NETME Centre PLUS project is an essential contribution to ensuring the sustainability of the regional research and development centre NETME. The project is financed by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports within the scope of the National Sustainability Programme I (NSP) with eligible project costs 606 million CZK (funding granted from the Czech budget 277 million CZK, cofinancing 329 million CZK). Web page NSP

Basic information about the project for the period 2010-2013:

NETME Centre – standing for New Technologies for Mechanical Engineering was conceived as a regional research and development centre based on high quality research and development activities of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FME). The project was financed by the EU and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports within the scope of the Research and Development for Innovations Operational Programme, Priority Axis - Regional R&D centers with subsidies of 768 million CZK (funding granted by the the EU - 652 mil. CZK, funding granted from the Czech state - 116 million CZK). Web-page

The project was officially launched on January 1, 2010 and continues in a longstanding tradition of FME as a centre of science and research and development activities.

Mission of NETME Centre is to deliver technology solutions through applied research collaborations, increase competitiveness of the region and promote regional knowledge economy. We strongly wish to facilitate and stimulate industry collaboration to deliver latest innovative technologies to commerce partners from diverse range of industries while maintaining maximum application potential of our work.

The project stems from tradition, present and the future:

Funding granted from the Czech budget : 116 million CZK

 

NETME Centre was built with the financial support from the Operational Programme Research and Development for Innovations within the project NETME Centre
(New Technologies for Mechanical Engineering), Reg. No. CZ.1.05/2.1.00/01.0002 and, in the follow-up sustainability stage, supported through NETME Centre PLUS (LO1202)
by financial means from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports under the „National Sustainability Programme I
